Targeted advertising and privacy choices

Depending on where you live, some advertising-related disclosures may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising under applicable privacy law. You may submit an opt-out request through our data sharing opt-out page. Where required, we also recognize Global Privacy Control signals for the browser or device sending the signal.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email or SMS messages using the instructions in those messages. We may still send transactional or service messages about your account and orders.

Additional U.S. state privacy disclosures

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described above: identifiers and contact details; customer records and payment-related details; commercial and transaction information; internet or other electronic activity; approximate geolocation derived from an IP address; communications and user content; and inferences used to personalize the Services. We collect these categories from you, your device, Shopify and our service providers, and advertising, analytics, social media, and other business partners.

We use these categories for the business and commercial purposes described in “How we use personal information.” We may disclose them to Shopify; payment, fraud-prevention, fulfillment, shipping, technology, cloud, analytics, customer-service, and professional service providers; and government authorities or transaction counterparties where legally required or appropriate.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share identifiers, commercial information, and internet or electronic activity with advertising and marketing partners for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Depending on applicable law, this activity may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. You can opt out through our data sharing opt-out page or a recognized Global Privacy Control signal.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We retain each category only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, considering the duration of our relationship, warranty and support needs, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, tax and accounting requirements, legal obligations, and dispute-resolution periods.

If applicable law gives you the right to appeal a decision about a privacy request, reply to our decision email with the subject “Privacy Appeal” and explain your request. We will review and respond as required by law.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising; to restrict or object to processing; or to appeal a decision about your request. These rights may be limited by law.

To make a request, email service@longspireshop.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 for targeted advertising.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send sensitive information through unsecured channels.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations.
